The only way I felt to rid the worms was to attack them with tweezers my quota was 4 cups per day. Interesting, birds and lizards would not eat them!
Hoping my tree returns back to normal in Grover Beach. The Oak in front of my neighbor's house, which was swarming with moths two weeks ago, is already popping back in fine form. We'll hope for a normal rainy season this winter, close the page on that chapter and wait for nature's next surprise. Pretty much no vegetation was left on any of the oaks around my house, and the air was thick with moths -- thousands of moths.

This year... perhaps I've seen maybe two moths total. Oaks all look very green and healthy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902797764033099143.post-79906306179445075142008-08-02T01:38:00.000-07:002008-08-02T01:38:00.000-07:00You explained in great way the process and situati...You explained in great way the process and situation. It looks you need to spread the knowledge to prevent massive pesticide use. When people panic, God knows what they will do.
Greetings,
E.Ewahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02460827662984311538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-902797764033099143.post-81386520105565333212008-08-01T08:35:00.000-07:002008-08-01T08:35:00.000-07:00A fine piece of writing, sir. We seem to be living in a culture where having a green tree over your barbeque pit is far more important than haveing a healthy eco-system. We don't have oak moths here... we have tent worms. They're much easier to get rid of... you rip open the web/tent with a stick and let the birds have a little feast...Claudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04568424354642247198noreply@blogger.com
